Has he stopped babbling yet?
What the hell was that all about? Anybody on board with a drug history...please provide a play-by-play.

He's illiterate and yet a Yale and Harvard graduate. The mind boggles.

Do you think his parents are embarrassed for him when they listen to him talk?

I had to turn it off shortly after his incoherent response of "thee, thee, thee, thee, thee" up until the reporter asking a question with no answer finally changed the subject, leaving the press corp in hysterics.

BTW, who was the reporter who asked the canned question about whether he would have taken this job if he'd known how difficult it would be, and whether he'd called his father or not (sob, sob)? Can we get any more Harlequin novel than that? Christ, if I'd been in the press corp, I would have slunk over to the garbage can and heaved.

1. EVERYONE WHO HEARS HIM SPEAK
KNOWS HE'S A BABBLING F***ING FOOL. His supporters don't care because, well, YOU know - he's "surrounded by good people". :puke:

2. There's never a safe time to turn on CNN.
You have to suffer through what you can get.

You refer to him as "illiterate>" I believe Wolf Blitzer refers to him as a "delicate vowel rounder." Some voters revel in substituting the snobby "going to's" for "gunna," even on national TV and before the Queen.

Call it "jogging for the mouth."

jump out of the car, it was going 60 mph. My God, what a wretched, vile-sounding drunk. I cringe to think that this wash-up is the President. I just can't stand it.:puke:

6. Not even a bad Harlequin Romance is as badly written as *
I've read more than a few Harlequin Romance (c) novels in my time, and some of them are decidedly short on literary merit, but nothing comes close to the sheer idiocy of a * speaking performance.

On the other hand, there are some romance novels (whether published by Harlequin or other publishers) that are very well written. Please do not lump them all in the "*-speak" category. :-)

7. I am so embarassed
that this illiterate is the president. I'm sure he thinks all that folksy slang makes him sound hip - but instead he sounds like an idiot without a shred of dignity.
