Anyone wonder why the US didn't drop a bunker buster on this isolated
hiding place of Saddam's?

take your shots.

Mine thinking is that this place seemed to be less "public" than the other places that we dropped bombs and missiles on killing innocent civilians. Why didn't they do it here when it was likely to not kill as many civilians? I think it was because they had Saddam for weeks, maybe months and this is the way they wanted this event staged.
