The longer Saddam lives, the more of a headache he will be to Bush
Saddam is regaining his strength in captivity and he is also talking more than anyone would have guessed. And what he is saying is getting into the media. It will not take Bush and crowd long to figure out that they do not need his comments in the public. The longer he lives, the more sympathy will be created amongst his Arab supporters.

If they cannot execute him soon, it could be more difficult in the future. If the IGC (Iraqi Governing Council) were to pass judgement on Saddam, they would lose forever any credibility with many Iraqis and the rest of the Arab world. It is a dilemma for Dubya. What to do with Saddam and what to do quickly?

2. Hussein will commit suicide in captivity
by shooting himself fifty times in the back with five semi-automatic weapons from ten feet away.

3. Bush has said
Saddam's fate will be up to the Iraqi people. It's going to take a long time before that country is stable enough to have a judicial system set up to try Saddam. So I guess we're just going to hold him here until we get our shit together in Iraq.

I really don't think Saddam can say anything that will hurt Bush. Our dealings with him in the past have hit the mainstream. I heard Tweety talking about how Reagan and company sold wmd to Saddam in the eighties. If anything does get out that is potentially damaging to Bush (I had nothing to do with 9/11 or I haven't had wmds for over five years) it will be spun as lies. You know, "Who you going to believe? Your beloved leader or an evil tyrant?"
