A thread to list Senator Kerry's accomplishments
Edited on Wed Dec-17-03 01:02 AM by _Jumper_
Senator Kerry has been a real liberal his entire life in politics. Let us have a thread to honor his accomplishments at a time when he is being attacked for being a "Bush enabler", "Bush-lite", "Republican-lite", etc.

Note: I am not a Kerry supporter.

1. Edited because this post was informational and no longer necessary

For what it's worth, I think Kerry has been a pretty darned good liberal for many years. There are many things I don't agree with, but this celebratory forum isn't the proper place.

Suffice it to say, if Kerry gets the nomination, I'll be cheerleading for him to kick George Bush's ass back to TX.

3. I Honor Sen. Kerry
Never stopped. Besides, he is looking better and better in this race. He's starting to get his motor revved. Go, Kerry!

4. I agree
We may need a Clark/Kerry or Kerry/Clark "national security" ticket in order to win, especially if continued economic improvement takes the economy off the table as a salient issue.

I prefer Gephardt/Clark or Clark/Gephardt, but I would gladly support any of the candidates on the ticket except for Howard Dean.

6. Kerry would appear stronger on defense issues
However, Clark/Gephardt would work well too since Gephardt's lengthy, liberal domestic record would mitigate Clark's weakness on domestic issues that is a result of his having no domestic record. It would also assuage fears of Clark being a Republican Trojan Horse.
