Completely closing my mind to the political ramifications here at home, and focusing solely on what SH is responsible for, I want to cry. Justice is a beautiful idea, but there is no justice in reality. Oh, they could gouge out his eyeballs, tie his hands behind his back, and lock him in a room with the families of people he tortured and murdered. That might give some of them some closure, but it's not justice.
I am reminded, oddly enough for someone who hasn't watched TV in half a decade, of a Star Trek: The Next Generation episode. A basically omnipotent being murdered an entire species because they killed his wife. He confessed to Captain Picard, who let him go. He said: "We have no law to fit your crime."
So it goes.
