This has been a family discussion lately and we would like to hear which dictator you DU'ers have and still fear.

4. The Bush Criminal Empire, without a doubt.
It's impossible for me to "fear" Hitler or Stalin because I wasn't on this earth when those guys were around. Though I certainly "fear" someone of that type coming to power again, and Bush/PNAC have used a playbook very similar to Hitler's so far.

5. Would have? Because I don't "fear" any as an American.
Nor have I. Even as a child (35 now) I didn't "fear" the USSR. I certainly didn't "fear" Edi Amin or Pol Pot. Had I lived in Cambodia then sure, but I didn't. Did I "fear" Hitler? No he'd been dead for 23 years prior to my birth. Had I been in Germany 1935? Maybe.

Matter of fact I don't understand the overwhelming culture of "Fear" here in America, have we all just lost our collective heads over the WTC attacks?

I'm certainly concerned about where this country is headed now but even then I don't "Fear" el Busho. Despise his politics and his enablers? Yep. 'Fear" them? No.

7. Bushes...without a frakin doubt
And I'd probably say J. Edgar "Nice dress!" Hoover, but, I'm not old 'nuff. Hell, compared to Bush, Hoover is a piker!!! But not as snappy a dresser.
