Did Smirk say this?
I'm a day behind, but last night Malloy played a byte from the "Press Conference" on Monday. I thought I heard Smirk say, about Saddam, "At the first sign of trouble he ran down into a hole and hid". WHAAAA? He's had a billion dollar military juggernaut bombing his country and looking for him for 8 months. And this from a man who, on 9/11/01, hopped in his jet and high-tailed it AWAY from where all the action was. What a hypocrite. We need Dem radio baaaaaad.

1. He said that, AND...
Naturally, in the ABC interview he couldn't help but mention Saddam and 9/11 in the same breath...

:grr:

It's why there is more support for the invasion than there would be if our pretzldent were truthful.

3. right at the first sign of Vietnam, the Chimp
used family connections to get him into protecting the Texas border from the Viet Cong and then he even ran and hid from that.

7. I'll allow the flying all over the country thing
For this, I'll give him a pass.

I'm not defending Bush, but the Secret Service has a protocol they follow if they think the President is in danger. And with fears of a DC terrorist attack early in the day, there indeed was.

I understand the rationale for flying him around, but still don't understand why Bush didn't leave the classroom immediately following being informed of the attacks.

"Good riddance. The world is better off without you, Mr. Saddam Hussein. I find it very interesting that when the heat got on, you dug yourself a hole and you crawled in it."
