6 point bounce. . .
Edited on Wed Dec-17-03 12:26 PM by a_random_joel
That's it according to the two most recent approval polls located at pollingreport.com

6 points...
For capturing the greatest threat (wink, wink) America has seen since Hitler.

6 points...
For capturing the guy that lives in a country with lots of sand; just like those other guys that live in a country with lots of sand THAT ATTACKED US ON 9/11!

6 points...
For the thriving economy that has still lost more jobs than the previous 11 presidents.

6 points...
For the Bush bubble - a "Thriving economy" spurred by war profiteering and deficit spending.

Enjoy those 6 points, Georgie. You'll be needing them.

1. 6 points more than enough to make a difference
if it's a replay of 2000.

4. People are coming around to Clark
Gotta love it. He is the most inspirational candidate for higher office I've ever seen.

6. 6 measely points???
A "big event" such as the capture of Saddan Hussein (a "big event" according to the whore media :eyes:) and he gets a mere 6 point bounce??

Man, he's more "toasted" than even I thought he was!!!

I think we might have a landlside on our hands in 2k4 (for the Dems, that is). 6 points = shit!
:bounce: Woohoo!!!!!!

7. Events take about a week to fully register in the polls. I am
waiting to see what next week's polls are.

9. I'm waiting until after Christmas
Saddam capture was big news, but our stuff, although important to us, is unlikely to be registering on voters just now. Even the Saddam bounce, whatever it truly is, hasn't played itself out enough to show itself yet.

Although, with the newest numbers as they are, it will be good to see if they hold up a week, I agree.

8. you miss something here
Along with the 6 points bounce, there is some ery very good news to the eventual dem nominee. The number of people that say Iraq is their number 1 concern have dropped from 25 to something like 6-7 points.

This means economy and jobs now occupy number 1 and 2 spots respectively.

Don't you find this encouraging news?

10. Like another recent bounce
Those six points will dry up as fast as our illustrious stock market "We got 'im" rally on monday.

If nothing else, the holidays are gonna be filled with melancholy thoughts of US soldiers far from home getting shot at daily. That'll suck at least six points outta the bubble.

13. 6 poitns
way to go George, though now it would seem you need to create another boogeyman since you got one in the dock. See what happens when you rely on war to bolster your popularity, George?
