My Repuke boss is voting for Dean.
He just came up and told me he was voting for Dean if he got the nom because Dean's a fiscal conservative. I asked him if he wanted a button and he told me not to push my luck, but so far so good!

2. lol, too funny
That's pretty common, though. A lot of Republicans will choose Dean over Bush because of the deficit.

4. Good deal
Yeah, I wonder how many conservatives out there are pissed at Bush's fiscal wrecklessness. My guess is that there are going to be quite a few coming over to our side, especially if we run somebody who is a fiscal conservative.

5. Goodness!
With all these success stories of late, I wonder how many ex-Bush supporters have actually converted!

Fantastic!

6. Good for him
The tide has changed. The sheeple will forget about SH's capture, and his numbers will begin to slip again. He's toast.

9. Did you tell him about Dean's Tax plan?
He's going to find out sooner or later if Dean wins the nomination. Karl Rove and Bush will make sure of it.

So no, I didn't mention it.

20. Up until this week he didn't have a foreign policy either.
At least not that anybody could quote. Now he does. Don't worry. The tax issue will work in his favor, not against.

14. I thought Dean's tax plan was to undo Bush's tax plan.
That would be a good start.

18. If you are a true fiscal conservative, then tax receipts need to get
close to expenditures.

19. It will be a good start.
But that's all. He'll have his own tax plan, and it will benefit the regular people who are paying for his campaign, not the top 2% or corporations.

12. More sensible repubs are jumping the Dean train
because of Chimp's betrayal of the primary conservative directive - fiscal conservatism. The reason I, as a rad leftist, don't have an issue with this is because I have noticed that an overwhelming majority of these "fiscal conservatives" tend not to be the fascist nutcases characterized by the neocon right.

This is win win for Dean. Unless, of course, some of you Dean haters out there believe that the Democrats can afford to blow off a large number of votes because we have enough support to win in the GE already.

15. That's great! I really think that fiscal responsibility
is the key issue to help us win in November. No matter the candidate: Dean, Clark, Kerry, etc they are all on the right path and can help us get out of the hole Bush dug for us. This is the issue I'm working with my republican friends... the deficit, the crazy spending. That's the issue that's going to turn Republicans against Bush.

Great news! One down, a few more million to go. ;)

17. This belies the myth that Dean is "too" liberal
Edited on Wed Dec-17-03 05:46 PM by rock
He seems to be more rational than political. I like that in a politician.

On edit: clarification - I was of course referring to Dean's broad appeal, Dems and Repukes.
