Today is the 100th anniversary of the historic first flight by the Wright brothers.

Pilots for Dean has a great interview with the Dean campaign's "Blogger-in-Chief," Mathew Gross, posted today.

I just saw that, and posted a message to you on a P&C thread. Great job!

My hubby reads a lot of piloting forums and he said that many pilots are upset at * today because his photo op at Kitty Hawk is preventing private pilots from having any airborne tributes or even just flying around the site. Figures.

And we've got a good story on that at Pilots for Dean.

When Bush travels, there is a "bubble" of airspace above him. That bubble is unimaginably bigger than it ever was under prior presidents. So it closed nearby airports, preventing pilots from getting to the 100th anniversary celebration except by driving fairly long distances.
