2. I honestly think....

evidence of extraterrestrial intelligence will be the only thing. We don't even need a threat from afar - just the knowledge that we're not alone will cause a major shift in how we think about ourselves. We'll stop thinking of ourselves as Europeans or Africans or Asians and finally think of ourselves as Earthlings.

8. we stop listening to governtments and other imaginary things

and start taking individual responsibility for ourselves. and not in the republican way either. too many people depend on leaders, gods, governments, etc. to tell them how to live their lives, it makes them easily manipulated. of course this wouldn't make everything perfect, but it would make the safer and more stable. of course the only way i see this happening is if humanity comes to the brink of extinction and the ones that are left have to depend on themselves, and each other to pull themselves back from the brink.
