Could Have and Should Have Been Prevented
If this is not the first thing out of any Democratic candidate's mouth from now til November then we are not fighting. This is a huge gift right before Christmas and we all need to use it and let everyone know this has been determined by a Bush* appointee. Not some Democratic hack but one of his own. This is our way of nuetralizing their politicizing on 9-11. They just lost a major political sound bite and we should now capitalize on it. It really doesn't matter when it goes to court or even if it does go to court. We have the President's own commission saying he was at fault. Merry Christmas All. Remember to repeat this phrase often Could Have and Should Have Been Prevented

2. While youre correct
I was just asked this morning why I wasnt really talking about it and I told the kids that I really can't yet. I personally have to calm down first. Nothing , including Iraq freaks me out more then this issue.

However I was raised in Westchester and those Towers and I grew up together. From we don't want them, they are butt ugly to see how beautiful the light reflects on the towers.

Some of us are trying not to go loony. Give us time.

3. Are you stunned...
...by his assessment, or by the fact he gave it?

I think the soundbite that 9/11 "could have and should have" been prevented is only a small part of the story. I've believed LIHOP since about 9/12 -- or, to say the least, believed that there was way more than enough suspicion to warrant an investigation.

I am, though, surprised that Kean of all people has publicly come out with this.

6. Actually I knew
I worked in the USAF and was stationed at an old NORAD base. Oh I knew that this is the case and I'm sure more is coming. It just disgusts me that it took this long and that people had to decide to jump to their deaths from 100 plus stories OR melt alive.

When I met Howard Dean a few months ago I told him about working at NORAD how we are not getting the full story and how he must met with the 9-11 widows because they are doing what is right for America.

We always knew Bush hated New York and so do most of his voters but to allow us to die that way for his political goal is even too low for this veteran to digest.

4. The RNC will be in your backyard soon.
New Yorkers should welcome them appropriately with huge protest.

7. Oh, we will.
They'll regret ever having thought of the "brilliant" idea of having their little cult initiation in NYC.
