Saddam and the Trial - will he "make" that far?
:tinfoilhat: warning:

Have heard and read more than one person mention that Saddam would "spill the beans" about Reagan, Poppy-bush, Bush*, Rumsfeld etc if he's put on trial and that considering we are entering an election year - Saddam's trial would not be soon

It then occured to me that if Saddam has alot of dirt on Bush-CO. that Saddam may not survive long enough to make it to trial...

just wondering if this has occured to any other :tinfoilhat:er's?

1. Saddam will cut a deal with bu$hco.
Plead guilty to all charges and admit that there are WMDs, where they are hidden(planted), and that he was partially responsible for the 9/11 attacks, in exchange for a life sentence in an undisclosed prison. Lie for us and no death sentence and you never know you might end up on some cushy estate on some island.

2. He has to survive
He is too valuable as a propaganda piece for Bush and his cronies.

4. he's valuable as a propaganda piece
as long as he "co-operates" with Bush-Co.

but there are stories out there about Saddam "ranting" which leads me to believe that they are already setting Saddam up to be a raving looney and therefore nothing he says can be believed

3. Gosh
Why would you need a "tin foil hat" to propose something like that? It's the oldest story in the book. That's the way of high politics, for centuries. My first thought was, he'll cut a deal, if he lives that long.
