I love this. I didn't think it would be good at first, but it is great. The conversations don't move nearly as fast so threads aren't getting archived in 24 hours. The mood in GD is also great.

17. The "split" is an excellent arrangement...

It's great that folks get so passionate about their preferred candidates, but when they abrade on one another, that state of irritation spills over too easily into the entire forum, and one can be suddenly mugged over the most innocent of posts.

So, it's terrific that the fires won't be quenched, but they'll be contained -- and much friendlier.
