Evil Walmart!
Edited on Fri Dec-19-03 11:33 AM by Jack The Tab
I need help finding an article. It was posted here recently about how Wal-Mart destroys the communities it goes into.

I have the December article from Fast Company, but I'm looking for a different article that outlined more what Walmart does to employees that try to unionize and how Walmart sucks the money out of communities.

Does anyone know the article I'm thinking of? Any help would be appreciated.

1. Here it is:
http://www.fastcompany.com/magazine/77/walmart.html

I also wrote an editorial about it: (One of my friends used to work at the Masterlock factory that Wal-Mart helped shut down.)

I know I've seen others on some green fair trade sites. If I come across them I'll post the links. :)

5. Hi, Jack
I think your subject line is going to fun afoul of the rules. You might want to change it to lower case.

:hi:

6. Thanks for the heads up and I found the article...
It was a Jim Hightower article in Alternet. Here it is if anyone wants to check it out. I wanted it to send to my family because it really explains the Walmart devilry in plain english and is a compelling read.

thanks to everyone for their help
