BBV: HR 2239 cosponsors = 94... plus ONE!

Here's the story: Over the past month or two I had been in frequent communication with a friend of mine (and of my father's) who has known Mike McNulty (D, NY 21st) for a long time. Well, the emails went back and forth as I tried to convince him to try to get Rep. McNulty to co-sponsor HR 2239. He wasn't optimimistic, and kept saying that Rep. McNulty was very "risk-averse". Well, Rep. McNulty was finally cornered at a social event just two nights ago, and apparently he hadn't received any of the information that my friend sent to him on this bill.

The GOOD NEWS is that Rep. McNulty called today (just 2 days after the personal contact) to tell my friend that he WOULD co-sponsor HR 2239. How about that!!!
