Strangely, he was promoted to head of the joint chiefs for his gross incompetence and outright failure. Or was he rewarded for a job well done?). Blitzer might have well as licked his shoes.

Next - more fearmongering re the political threat level being raised from two pols, Lugar(R)and Bayh(D), working in concert with Wolfie to keep the seed planted in the brains of the Muricans that Al Qaeda could strike at any time to ensure martial law, Bush's re-selection, and the mass detention of leftists and peaceniks...Bayh is consistent in his role as the kind of pliant Democrat that the bush Crime Syndicate love. My guess is they're grooming him to replace Lee Hamilton as the primo Democratic Bush protector.

3. These guys are screwed up and out

We have all heard stories of
people accomplishing great feats when terrified out of their minds.
Remember the one about the little old granny
who LIFTED a car right off her grandchild?

Well, the human body produces something called adrenaline when it is scared. The adrenaline reacts with the glucose floating around the body to liberate massive amounts of energy.
BUT here's the catch:
you have to wait a long time before the glucose and adrenaline can build up to the original level.

In other words, humans will "get used" to being scared
and they will not respond as dynamically
as they did the first time
they experienced that particular terror.
It is a biology thing
(and I have reduced it to very simple terms.)
That's how people live through wars,
and still manage to get some sleep
even though their city is being shelled.

So when these guys change the color and issue their scarycasts
and EVEN if there is another "terrorist attack"
it will NEVER
have anywhere near the same impact that September 11 did.

So if they are depending
on keeping the general populace quiet and obedient via fear,
they are totally screwed
and the only advice I have for Wolf is this:
get over it.
