The Coming Strike?

On 12/16 this article, 'the Coming Strike' written by Jeremy Reynalds started popping up on extremest right wing sites all over the internet.

The source of Reynalds intel is a self proclaimed al Qaida operative Daleel Almojahid. On 12/20 Daleel Almojahid posted, 'An Urgent letter to the American Administration from Al-Qaida' on his Yahoo message group http://groups.yahoo.com/group/daleel_almojahid/message/31. On 12/21 the terror alert was raised to Level Orange.

Most of the info that Ridge and Co has sighted for the reasons for raising the alert level is the same info that is in the 'Urgent Letter' and 'the Coming Strike' article. Were these documents what triggered the alert? And if they are then how the heck is Jeremy Reynalds, an extreme radical right wing fundie, the only one who had the inside scoop? How does he know so much about Daleel Almojahid and his threats, or is he making up these threats up himself in the name of Daleel Almojahid?

My take on this is that on 12/16 Reynalds started spreading this story around the internet, he may have even made up this character Daleel and Reynalds may actually be the one who posted this 'Urgent Letter'. In internet forums and chat rooms this information began to spread around. For example, there have been at least a few discussions on Free Republic about Reynalds and Daleel articles. Now much is this information is becoming the stuff of urban or should I say Internet legend. All of a sudden Homeland Security gets alerted to all this chatter on the internet and now here we are at Code Orange and misinformation is flying all over the place. If this is true, then the real terroist is not Daleel Almojahid, it is Jeremy Reynalds and this whole alert may be based on the fantasies of one sick individual.

1. If they guy is spreading rumors like this, seems to me he is a terrorist.

How many millions has this caused cities and states? And if this is a basis for increasing the threat assessment, why didn't HS check the veracity of this story?

I hope someone investigates your hypothesis....it would be most disturbing if RW sources are racheting fear, using Al Qaeda to further this administration's political agenda.

My question for so many is this:

Is there - or is there NOT - a threat of terrorism by radical Islamic extremists?

If there IS a threat, then it's a damned if you do and damned if you don't situation for Clinton, Bush, any and all future presidents. Right?

I am confused as to how so many can believe that EVERYTHING is always manufactured and NOTHING is .....well.....just IS.

Help? I'm confused by this lack of belief (or whatever) as to the (what I consider) to be very real threats from radical religionists who wish this country ill.

Why do I, all of a sudden, who am in step with the thinking of the vast majority of this country, suddenly feel so out-of-step on this board? Surely we can be Democrats and still believe that the threat from radical Islam is REAL?

Sad thing is, I beleive less and less what this administration tells us. When an administration will lie about the causus belli re: Iraq, what smaller details won't they lie about?

And what do we know, 2 years after 9/11, about the "Al Qaeda"? We had the top 52 Iraqi's fingered on playing cards in time for the invasion kick-off, but I'd be hard pressed to name 3 people associated with AQ. Is our intel that bad that we have no idea who we're at war with?

But I do know the Bush family and the bin Laden's go way back. Hell, the CIA even sold bin Laden a military transport jet in '91.

Personally, until we have a completely open and unbiased investigation into EVERYTHING connected with 9/11, I doubt we'll ever win the war of terror. Since no one has been fired or demoted or jailed for the loss of 3000 lives that day, how do we know that we are any less exposed to another attack with the same cast of characters still calling the shots? And why is Condi afraid to go under oath????

How easy is it for a government to exadurate a threat that's also - at least in part - real?

And how serious is the threat of Right-wing radical religionists inside the US?

10. It's a false flag terror threat - Black Ops Disinfo

The writer is clearly mixing up his western and arab metaphors, and its designed to get the rabid right wingers something to base their irrational xenophobia on. Also, it gives a cover for raising the terror threat level instead of theobvious political distraction its use is intended for.

Finally, it is yet another ploy to condition the sheeple to the next "inevitable" attack - and to then feel more secure when Martial Law is enacted, so as to ensure the Carlyle-Halliburton Adminstration that the Murican people will be firmly under control for the coming decades of A World Wide War Of Terror.
