I don't cuss around my mom, kids and most women...And I don't do it as a display of respect.

I was happy when DU changed the rules and discouraged cursing...It wasn't a big deal to see foul launguage when reading the boards back then, but I wasn't in any hurry to direct friends and family here...It was a bit of an embarrassment.

I can't imagine any votes are won through the use of foul language...So why display it? It's like wearing a suit to a wedding...No one really notices that. But show-up in a tank top and shorts and see what kind of looks you get.
