If nuclear terrorism is likely why hasn't it occurred yet?

1. There's a big difference between feasible and practical.

Obviously, Palestinian suicide bombers haven't been able to acquire nuclear weapons yet. Actually, they'll likey acquire biochemical weapons before they get their hands on nuclear devices.

As technology continues to advance and the world continues to wither under brutal dictatorships and George Bush, Inc., it's just a matter of time.

What are they waiting for, after all? Are these "terrorists" not really sure they hate us that much? Or are they waiting for Bush to invade Mecca and build a cathedral there? If they had nukes, we'd have been fried a long time ago.

I don't think the material is available. Also, Israel is considered Palestinian homeland. One of the bigger sticking points is "right of return". Nuking the homeland kinda makes "right of return" a moot point.

What I'm surprised at is the lack of chemical attacks. Japanese terrorists demonstrated Sarin gas attacks were plausible in the Japanese subway system. But it hasn't happened since, thank god.

I suspect it's too complex logistically to risk assets trying to accomplish this. Plus any WMD's that the Palestinians use would turn world opinion decidedly against their cause. Just like the US had no opposition to the Afghanistan campaign, Israel would have a green light to do the same to Palestinians if a WMD is used against Tel Aviv or Haifa or any other city.

this is a big smoke screen to get us signed-on for their latest imperial crusade, imo.

i am sure they wish there was more terrorist activity since that wuld fit their agenda not to mention that rummy said that was art of our plan... to PROVOKE terrorist activities :crazy: talk about a self fulling prophocy.
