I heard on Alan Colmes radio tonight that LAX is forbidding
cars to drop off or pick up passengers at the airport starting tomorrow. You have to park in the parking areas. He also said that flights coming in from Mexico and Air France can expect "additional" security measures.

So you feel safer now?

1. What Mexico and France have to do
and I am serious is....

Tell the US...YOU CANNOT FLY ANY AIRLINER UNTIL YOU MEET OUR SECURITY Standards.

They are far tighter... than they are in the US... and have been for many years

5. Well...
if there is actually a credible threat, and we don't know that for sure, it makes sense.

Our airports here have Guard people walking around with M-16s, but they still allow uninspected vans to pull up to the curb in front of crowded terminals. Apparently, they never heard of Munich or car bombs.

They did, for a while, inspect cars going into the parking lots, but still ignored the cars in front of the terminals. Huh? (Hint-- Port Authority Police getting overtime.)

It seems many places put passenger convenience above security. One local newsreader, talking about LAX, complained about what a hassle that would be.

Mexico and France? They have to explain that one. Maybe they're hiring Arab pilots...

But, howcum Egyptair, EmirAir, Royal Air Maroc, Saudi Air, and the rest of them are OK?

Didn't Egyptair already have one crazed pilot commit suicide by dunking a 747?
