on a serious note for a moment, from what i understand so far this is an isolated incident. in fact according to Newsday, about 1 in one million cows will develop the disease for no known reason.


and in fact the same goes for Creutzfeldt-jakob disease, a disease that is afflicting the presiding officer of the suffolk county legisltature, and forced her to retire.
