There are 468 American soldiers dead, and the lead story tonight
will in all likelihood be of a young male wandering dazed around some discount store with a deer in the headlights look, seeking deparately to buy something for someone.

It's a sad commentary on the state of our world, I know it's christmas and people don't want to hear this, but.
The families of all these dead, and the families of all the wounded didn't want to hear that news either.

For that matter there are several thousand Iraqis who would be alive today, were it not the actions of our tinhorn dictator.

Merry Christmas, God Bless Us Everyone.

1. rather than god bless us everyone... I would say...
may god have mercy on our souls. :-(

I think it's shows a sort of sickness to just dump off the deaths and the wars to have a celebration. It reduces those people's death to an annoyance, which is a tragic commentary on the state of humanity, or lack thereof.
