BeliefNet... Not believeable?
http://www.beliefnet.com/story/137/story_13704_1.html#cont

Love him or hate him, there's no question that for large numbers of Americans President George W. Bush is truly inspiring. Those who love President Bush usually point to the same set of factors: He is steadfast and morally clear.
As conservative columnist Charlotte Hays put it, "George Bush was willing to risk his presidency on an unpopular war because he believed it was the right thing to do. Bush has a rare courage, all the more fascinating because he was born to be a rich frat boy and destined to grow into a country club Republican. But this is not who he became."

Interestingly, when you look at the voting results, Rev. Gene V. Robinson actually leads with 26% of the votes to Shrub's 22%.

2. I don't know if we can ever reach
people who are so brainwashed that they think this pathetic excuse for a president is morally clear. He is steadfast in his support of the rape/pillage attitude of Big Business. And his handlers have done a good job of camouflaging the fact that all he is is a rich frat boy who used his daddy's connections to go into a series of businesses that failed.

They probably believe everything their ministers tell them the Bible means without taking the time to read and study it themselves and draw their own conclusions.

4. An unpopular war?
Actually. most Americans initially supported the war and most religions condemned it.
Morally clear?

6. people are amazing
Bush can go around saying he is moral and people will believe it.
If he is so morally clear, why has the rationale for the war in Iraq changed so much?
