Source: Fact-checkers blamed for Bush's uranium 'goof'
From Dana Bash CNN
Thursday, December 25, 2003 Posted: 7:14 AM EST (1214 GMT)

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- President Bush's Foreign Intelligence Advisory Board has concluded that his 2003 State of the Union address included information about Iraq's weapons program that wasn't checked carefully, a source involved in the investigation and findings said Wednesday.

"Goof"?? It's a "goof" now? When it's Bill Clinton or a given democrat, it's a "lie".....but Bush only makes "goofs", apparently.

Thanks again, CNN, for pathetic running defense of this lying war criminal in Office. Post this as an example to any rightwinger you happen to be fighting with, as evidence that their "liberal media" claim is so much crap.

the media, the right-wing, and even some Democrats are doing their best to make sure that no one calls the yellow-cake lie a lie committed by the pResident

I think he should be hung for his intentional lies. It's supposed to be a felony to make false claims to the congress in an official capacity.

OnEdit: spelling

5. At best, the bastard's incompetent.
Much more believable, he's criminally complicit with Wolfowitz and the PNAC cabal. Either way, he's responsible for thousands of unnecessary deaths in implementing a neo-con foreign policy. He should be out of the WH on his sorry ass and tried for war crimes. I bet he'd get used to hanging out with Milosevic.

9. Dems need to be as good at "word play"...Rember changing threat of
nuclear Holocaust to "thirteen little words". That was the master of trivializing something of huge importance to something of no consequence at all.

Democrats - let's learn some of the Republican dirty tricks!!

13. CNN - International
That's what we get in Europe. I have no idea what Faux is like. But CNN is a joke. The ONLY reporter I have one ounce of respect for is Amanpour and it seems she has been squeezed out of the rotation. The rest are talking heads.

Blitzer is such a Likud apologist it's embarassing...

I go to the BBC if I feel like television news. I watch CNN when I want to analyse the American media - not to get news.

The funny thing is - both DU and Free Republic generally condemn CNN - the fire is burning at both ends of the candle.
