Question for any DU Legal Eagles!

We've all heard about "No Child Left Behind", and it's deft manipulation which results in using public schools for full on military recruitement. My question is:

Do counter-military movements or organizations have equal time in public schools? Could I set up a booth or office at a public school with the sole purpose of making a case against the trend of US war policy; airing the DOWN side of joining the US military?

This is generating a big discussion in my neck of the woods. What kind of legal ground do we stand on here?

1. You might have a chance under the "Equal Access Law". This federal

law compels public high schools to permit all viewpoints onto their property in the form of clubs that meet before and/or after school hours.

It came about in order to get Christian youth clubs permission to meet in high schools. The summary of equal access is this: if you ban, say a Christian club from meeting in the school before/after hours, then the school cannot permit ANY clubs to meet on its grounds, e.g., French club, Chess club, etc. Either all or nothing.

So, if you are refused permission for a counter-military club, go to a First Amendment attorney and/or the ACLU and initiate a lawsuit.
