Is it beyond rationality that Hillary could be VP?
Let's say it is Dean that is the dem nominee. What is so "out there" to think Hillary may be asked to be VP. Don't you guys think that could be a possobility?

4. no way
she has promised/vowed to serve her entire first term -- which ends in 2006. she will not leave her first term -- shredding that vow -- to run with anyone. she'd be ripped for breaking a very clear and simple promise. so no way.

6. '08 will be the year for Dean's re-election - Hillary as a two term VP
should be able to move smoothly into the White House.. Also, enough time will have passed that any lingering negative thoughts about her will have passed into oblivion.

8. like Gore?
firstly, like the poster said above...she promised to finish out her Senate term...if she lies about that she's toast.

Secondly, I don't think Dean would want to play second fiddle to Hillary...I think he'd pick someone with a lot less notoriety.

11. Okay I agree with you but if in fact she did break that oath
would you not vote for the Democratic candidate because of that? I would still vote for whomever the candidate was but would be dissappointed in Hillary and would not back her in any future campaigns.

12. and perpetuate the idea that Dems can lie with no repercussions...
other than "but I won't support you later"?

No thanks.

If the current crop of candidates ask for Hillary to be their VEEP, I'd wonder about their choice anyway.

9. I think it is a possiblity. Anyone could be asked
as long as they meet the requirements. I think it is HIGHLY unlikely and even less likely that she would accept.
