Apparently, Janeane is doing stand-up and on the road. She's done interviews in some liberal magazines, too. We get at least three that could be called liberal press, I can't remember where I read the last one.

I kind of think the 'shout shows' asked her on thinking they were going to get some bubble-head they could hammer, shout down or make fun of, and they got something entirely different. Good for her, but you're right -- it lowers her profile, if they find her too hot to handle and don't want her on.

She also did a special for Bravo or Trio recently about Bill Hicks that was made in honor of the tenth anniversary of his death (I think).
