I didn't hear Jr's radio address, but saw a thread on it in GD. Apparently Jr said that "God's purpose is justice". Unfortunately, Jr's definition of justice is more like revenge.

I think Jr is dangerous to everyone because of his religious fundamentalism -- and this statement in his radio address underscores that. His belief that he is chosen and that God speaks to him is very scary. What he fails to realize is that his fundamentalism isn't that far removed from that of OBL's fundamentalism. They both use holy texts to justify their actions, proof texting to make their points. (Proof texting is taking a verse or passage out of context and using it to bolster one's view.)

That's harsh. JanMichael doesn't get paid to do these shows. He lives in North Carolina & makes a long trip to drive down to Florida in order to help Guy out, not to mention expose himself to ridicule from people who sit in front of their computers & criticize. The show has just switched to a new station--aside from the small contributions of listeners, some of whom have posted in this thread, Guy pays each week's expenses out of his own pocket, & it's not cheap. To say "way to go" is uncalled for.

Had a good show ready but, evidently, the radio station wasn't ready to do their part this weekend. They sent in a part-time board-op and she couldn't get the show on the air. It involves switching the signal from one studio to another and she didn't know how to do it so I waited about 25 minutes and walked out. I'm very sorry for this terrible screw-up. We even had Dennis Kucinich ready to come back on at 4pm. This is a big-time radio station but I'm now getting the feeling that weekend Democratic shows don't matter very much to them. I hate to say that but its beginning to look that way. Again, I apologize for your inconvenience.
