Stop the media propaganda "lies and deception" - lawyers welcome |
|
Many people on this forum take the time every week to write to the networks and others to share their outrage and the transparent media effort to keep the "teflon shrub" in power. At the same time...more and more people are catching on and see the news and the corporate deception.
Don't you think the "network execs" have to be saying "we got a problem"..."too many people are tuning out and educating their friends".
Furthermore, can it not be said that the media should be held accountable and liable for their deliberate deception. I would love to see a courtroom case where the media is shown to deceive and manipulate and held $$$$ liable for their deliberate mis-information.
The media will end this game when you fight "fire with fire"....$$$ talks..nothing like a good class action lawsuit to nail these criminals.
Can it be done...your thoughts?

In a Florida Case
Two Fox(Local Affiliate) Reporters Were About To Expose Monsanto
for Bovine Growth Hormone Shenanigans.
They Were Fired For Not Changing Their Story To Lie and Say rBGH was
okay.
They Lost In Court.
On edit: I don't know why that frown smiley is there
It is supposed to say Fox parenthesis Local affiliate parenthesis

4. They did not lose in court! |
|
Read their essay in the book "into the buzzsaw". Even if the media reported otherwise, they won, the woman got some money (her husband not).

3. how do you show damages? |
|
Would be really difficult.
Better to just vote in a real reformer like Kucinich and move the country toward a social democracy, where the media has to devote significant free time to various political interests. Also, take back all that military frequency bandwidth and give it over to community based free political access.

7. the damage is the current rise of fascism, |
|
in which the many of the media are more or less complicit. though it'd be a major task to argue that case.

6. Some group in Seattle were sueing the local affiliates |
|
For calling their 11 pm programs, "news" programs, as they obviously were not. Just the usual, "are you in danger from your oven" type garbage. I don't know what became of the lawsuit.
