My last day at work (sniff sniff)
My co-workers got me a cake. I thought it would be easy to walk out the door, but these darn nice people just make it difficult! I got laid off from the best place I ever worked, after 6 1/2 years. This has been coming for over a year - so no surprise. I leave in good spirits knowing I have friendships that will last far longer than my tenure here.

I look forward to an exciting new year and new job (which I don't have yet)

1. Well I hope the best for you
I have been liad off since Aug 19, 2003 but I just got a temp job that only pays half of what I was making. I have a shot at something good though so good luck to you and me and I'll remember to include you when I pray for me.

2. Good Luck!
I've been laid of three times since June '02. It must be really hard after 6 1/2 years. What are your skills? Have you put a resume together?

3. Thanks
I've been doing graphic design for about 18 years. My resume is ready, but I'm taking some time off. I need a break!
I'll get a job, I always do.

5. Bobja, you are my soulmate!
I was a graphic designer for more than thirty years, but I worked in an era before the high tech revolution. I am now retired, but work regularly as a substitute teacher. 'Bon chance' in your job search.

6. I'm changing jobs too
Kind of jumping off a bridge to the unknown. It will probably be a month before all the arrangements are made.

Good luck to you.
