Some Internet milestones for political animals
Here are some political milestones, courtesy of PoliticsOnline:

First campaign to use e-mail: 1992, Jerry Brown, Democratic candidate for president.

First candidate Web site: 1994, Sen. Dianne Feinstein, Democrat, Calif.

First candidate to win "because of the Internet": 1998, Jesse Ventura, Independent, Minnesota governor.

First candidate to raise $1 million online: 2000, Bill Bradley, Democratic candidate for president.
First candidate to collect $500,000 online in one day: 2000, Sen. John McCain, Arizona, Republican candidate for president.

‚First party to have 1 million activists online: 2000, Republican Party.

I think its important to mention that last years election results could bear less important that some think because of the anti-gore sentiment that existed. I liked gore alot but alot of folks i spoke to voted for Bush because Gore left a bad taste in their mouth. Those people are up for grabs again. Also, Florida could be a big problem for Bush considering that crappy Medicare Bill he passed that actually took benifets away from seniors.

2. hmm.... medicare backlash?
seen any polling on that? this could be good here in PA since we have a high proportion of seniors!
