I guess this latest story about the ever-increasing drumbeat of terrorism fear made this issue reach critical mass for me...

"Officials Worry About Sea-Based Terror
Thu Jan 1, 1:51 AM ET

By LESLIE MILLER, Associated Press Writer

WASHINGTON - Terror strikes from the sea could be even more catastrophic than those from the air, intelligence officials say...."

With all the terror alerts that we have had, and all the threats they are supposedly monitoring, why haven't they captured somebody really supposedly plotting some action?

With all the chatter going on, why hasn't someone traced a freakin' phone call. Tracing phone calls is a technology we understand, right?

Is it time to start yelling for them to shut up the alerts or produce some evidence of the supposed chatter that is going on?

If there were protests, what would the tactics be?

1. This is interesting but beyond my pay grade.
I would need to think a long time on it. I can seem to see why they keep every one up tight but not how to stop it.My reasoning tells me that it is really over the edge and silly if you look back in history of terror but we seem to be a country that is not interested in history.Since we can not wait 24 hours to count paper votes in an election every 4 years we are hardly going to wait and think this out. We seem to always want the results yesterday not tomorrow.
