After June when the US leaves Iraq.
When the US pulls out of Iraq, and nothing has been accomplished. And over 500 young people are dead. And terrorism threats rage on, and everyone realizes what a crock the whole scam was. WIll people still say those 500 + died for a worthy cause?

1. Some will because some are convinced that
Saddam had something to do with 9/11.

Despite there being no proof, a large percentage of Americans believe Saddam was involved. Sigh...

3. Well look at him...he's evil can't you just tell.
I am wondering if Iraq being left in shambles and nothing truly accomplished will sway voters, reasonable ones at least.

2. 67% in favor of war regardless of no WMD's.
The American public will probably say it was a worthy cause rather than admit that their children, fathers, mothers, etc died in vain. Bushco knows this.

4. And there will be NO coverage
of the resultant chaos and carnage (as if there weren't enough already) - another "Mission Accomplished" tag by the media.

5. The rush is on to turn the country over the it's new government -
not pull out the military. They will be there for years if not decades. Paul Bremer almost chocked on TV a couple weeks ago when Stephanopolis asked him about it. The idea had never crossed his mind.

6. Pull Out?
You must be joking! The US has built military bases throughout the region. Look at the bases in the various Stans. No way the US leaves. We'll be there a long, long time.

8. YEs I was partially confused
I thought they'd be pulling out a significant amount of militia.

7. They're not pulling out
Troops will remain, they're just supposed to be handing over 'authority' to the new government
