Did anyone see on CSPAN this am - shrub has spent 20% of term in Crawford!
Around 7:30 this morning he was reading an artcle comparing time away from DC and on vacation.

There's a part of me that thinks this is where the "puppet" get his coaching... and next words of wisdom.

OBL has his caves ...shrub has Crawford.

1. It looks like he's going to break
Ronnie Raygun's record who spent a entire year on his ranch during his 8 year presidency.

4. If a Democrat ever spent that much time
on vacation, repubs would burn his house down and kill all his kinfolk.

5. Combine this with his Camp David time - time spent at fundraisers
- time getting that eight hours a night - time eating pretzels...

No wonder he doesn't have time to find out who outed Valerie Plame.

19. No one can push moral responsibility on Bush, he is anti-moral
But I saw your post where you are considering giving Bush a vote of confidence. What are you doing here at DU?

10. Meanwhile, back at the Pig Farm
Chimp had a swell holiday as usual. Did nothing but blast some birds and feast on pretzels, and hatch Skull & Boner like plots for 2004...

And now...back to Washington...To jump back up on his pedestal. His precarious pedestal.

16. The Crawford spider hole
Add in Camp David, golf outings, his 3-hour work day, and campaign fundraising trips and the guy actually works about 25% of the time.

26. It doesn't take a lot of time actually on the job
to pop out every so often and say what he has been told to say. It does take a lot of time at the pig-lot to rehearse it, though. Even then, he flubs what he has been told to say most of the time. If the media was merciless, like they were during Clinton's presidency and showed us all the unedited, flubbed clips on the prime time news he would be toast in a month or two.

22. Yeah right
He is in it for the exposure--and he can take

all sorts of vacations and trips abroad on our money-and that includes the photo pop trip to the castle in England to visit the
Queen, where he landed on the Queens' garden and destroyed it without a moment's hesitation, while he had to actually "hide" in that castle for a couple of days because, well because it was all for a photo op, and he was scared--very very scared of anything and anyone, including the butler, who had the potential to assisinate him.

He had to bring along the frump o lump in the bed with him because, well because she is after all married to him; ti would look terribly inappropriate if he did not, and she did, indeed, birth his children--=twin girls who are as vacatant it seems and as flip and as insipid as tneir complacent, dullard of a mother, as much as I think he would like to deny that= I think he would ,or Karl Rove would, choose Condi to accompany him as the better choice--(Laura would go along with this for the "cause")

In any event the whole thing was a total flop , including the frump's upholstried, sort of plum colored, but not exactly, evening gown complete with the belly bow, (on a fifty six year old woman that is not exactly the best way to point out the inevitable belly bulge) that featured the "bosom as the waist" as her most notable fashion statement.

23. Ain't it the truth..........
I was watching his little press conference from the Farm yesterday when one reporter asked him what was his New Year's resolution (one would think World Peace or cure for HIV from the leader of the free world) but no he says: to get his knees able to run again! What an asshole! How sophomoric and self centered. I cannot stand that guy!!

24. Words of wisdom? You mean like
"Uh, we prishate that the Iranians are, uh, letting our humanitarian flights in there, but, uh, they must, uh, listen to the voices of those who long for freedom and, uh, turn over the Al-Qaida that are in their custody and, uh, abandon their nucular program"? He coulda read those talking points on the plane.
