2. We lost 75% of the counties
Even in the states we won, we tended to lose most of the counties. Pretty disturbing.

3. Not really
It's one person, one vote, and not one county, one vote. Why shouldn't the voters of Chicago count just as much as the voters of Utah? Why shouldn't the state of New York have more influence in an election than Tennessee? That's democracy.

I don't care if the GOP wins 95% of the counties, so long as it translates to less than 50% of the votes cast.

4. Great formula for divided government
hopelessly mired in partisan disputes. It would be nice if we had a little more geographical leverage, wouldn't it? Isn't that the idea behind chasing truck drivers with Confederate flags?

6. Just how is the party that pushed for civil rights and passed bill
going to take the South?Do we not know why the South changed parties even if they do not say it? Just open your eyes and ears and every place their is a Rep you will hear them say non-whites are taking their jobs, and getting hand outs from the gov. As if any white man can look at his history and think he has not run this country. I loved Bush and the old white men signing that late term thing. Not even a women in sight. I am sure it was to show us it is a white mans world and no blacks or women need to enter. And white Southern men like that. They even quote something from Bible about male rule of women.Bush and company feeds this in all they do.I do sound like a bigot to men but I am not but I do think their is a set type man that is in the GOP and Dem are not there.

5. People get very mixed up on this,,,,,,
Women are always calling in on c-span and saying GOP took the country and they are talking land mass. very odd thinking.Men do not seem to do it or I have not heard them. It is also hard to get it into some ones head that if you take 5 counties it may not be as good as taking one city.It really is not a red/blue map. As when you take 51 percent you can not call this pure red.I also find that local people are not telling us what party they are in when they run and both sides seem to be running on the same thing. Even if you ask what party they are in some will not tell you.I have had yelling matchers with some of these people at my door as I ask what party they are in. Their information does not tell either. Is that not odd?
