4. I believe the info was there

I don't believe that Bush really knew what was going to happen on 9/11. But I do believe that the data was there; the problem was no one bothered to connect the dots. And since intelligence agencies were not sharing data as a rule prior to the Patriot Act, there were many clues that indicated a possible attack scattered across the FBI, CIA and Justice Department, just waiting for someone to put the pieces together.

Bu$h knew that one plane had already hit the WTC when he arrived at Booker. He probably knew that other hijacked planes were in the air. At about 9:06 AM, Andrew Card informed him that a second plane had hit the WTC and that AMERICA WAS UNDER ATTACK. And even then what did Bu$h do? He did nothing.

I don't know what he knew on 9-10 or even on 9-12. But I do know that when Bu$h knew an national emergency was in progress he did nothing? I do know that if Bu$h acted at the least the Pentagon wouldn't have been hit and at the best maybe even the secound tower could have been saved.

Bu$h knew America was under attack and reading a book about goats was more important?

Bush didn't get his shit together for 3 days. I believe that they had to fly him around the country to keep him out of sight because he was curled up in a fetal position crying and sucking his thumb. They finally got him medicated enough to prop him in front of a camera for a few minutes that evening. When we saw him on TV that night my husband looked at him and said "What's wrong with him? He looks drugged."--before any of the suspicions started to form in his mind.

No one can deny that there were major screw ups that day, that people weren't doing there jobs. If it were a football game the coach would have been fired the next morning.

12. I've often wondered what was going through

Bush's brain (besides a breeze) during those minutes right after the planes struck. I finally arrived at the conclusion that The Reaction ws akin to a man who carries around a gun all the time but has never actually used it for real. He KNEW something was going down, and then it happened. Similar to he pulled out his gun, and it went off and shot the guy.

He freaked because he knew that now it was on. He never was a lotta good under pressure.

I mean, the administration claims to have stopped several 9/11 attacks in the past month alone. Do you really think that the information relay system would have gotten so much better just because W waved his hand and magically made everything right?

If you believe that Bush couldn't have known what was going to happen, and that when the first plane hit they couldn't have acted to prevent further death, then you are living in a fantasy world.

Look. Bush knew exactly what was going to happen, and he and his administration decided to let it happen so they could exploit the tragedy for political gain.

Consider:
Bush was widely regarded as a pathetic failure who didn't even win the election legally in the days before 9/11. But then 9/11 happened, and we immediately hear "support the President" and "we must unite" from Bush. His popularity skyrockets, and he has continually used the memory of 9/11 as the ultimate trump card to cover his lies, pimp war, promote the wealthy, and force his twisted, ultra-right, zionist, fascist agenda on the country.

Fuck him. He knew what was going to happen, and he chose not to stop it.

....... a few months ago a poster stated that one of Bushs Executive Orders eliminated weekly or bi-weekly meetings between intelligence agencies that had existed for decades.....I failed to double check this EO(2112 I believe) however it certainly stains the intelligence breakdown theory.....add to the equation the politically motivated OSP and its special purpose within the intelligence network and once again the zealot issue surfaces again.....if anyone is familiar with the EO in question would you please refresh my overwrought memory.....
