I'm sick of getting these right-wing emails. But I just got a great response to them that I'm sending out to everyone whose email address is at the top of the freeper rants. Here it is, it very much parallels the kinds of stuff the right-wingers send around. The original was in alternative red and blue but I can't figure out how to do that here, so you'll just get the plain text:
This says it all!
After the Right Wing extremists who control the White House and the Republican Party began ripping apart our God-given rights as Americans, a red-blooded American patriot wrote this as an editorial. He did quite a job, didn't he? Read on please!
It's the Right-wing extremists, not the true Americans, who must adapt!
I am tired of people worrying about whether we are offending the Right-Wing crazies in this country. Since the terrorist attack on Sept.11 we have experienced a growing surge of Americans taking seriously their God-given rights.
However, the dust from the attacks had barely settled when the extremists on the Right, from the White House to Fox News to their foot soldiers in every town and village in America began whining about real Americans who did not buy their sickeningly opportunistic attempts to cash in on this tragedy, and who insisted on continuing to take seriously their rights as Americans.
I am not against conservatives, nor do I hold a grudge against anyone who is seeking to express their political views from the right. However, there are a few things that Right-Wingers need to understand.
The idea of this country as a place where people need to march in lockstep to Right Wing extremists just because they control the presidency is undermining the freedoms that we real Americans value so much. As Americans, we have rights that have been ensured over centuries of struggles, trials, and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom.
We believe in freedom of speech, not shutting up and doing whatever the President or Fox News tells us to do. Therefore, if you wish to be or remain part of our society, learn about our values and freedoms!
This country was founded by men who were extremely suspicious of organized religion. That's why they called for the separation of church and state. This is not some atheistic left-wing political position. We adopted this position because our founding fathers saw first hand the dangers of right-wingers hiding behind God in order to force their extremist agendas down other peoples' throats. This is very clearly documented.
If the separation of Church and State offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home -- maybe Iran or Taliban-controlled Afghanistan -- because the separation of Church and State is the foundation of our nation's freedoms.
If our Bill of Rights and Constitution offend you, or you don't like the freedoms that are guaranteed in these documents, then you should seriously consider a move to another part of this planet. We are happy with our freedoms and have no desire to change, and we really don't care whether you right- wingers like this fact or not. This is OUR COUNTRY, our land, and our lifestyle. Our First Amendment gives every citizen the right to express his opinion, but that does not give you the right to harrass, threaten and bully anyone who disagrees with your extremist views by labeling them an enemy.
So once you are done complaining, whining and griping about the fact that true Americans are standing up to right-wing extremists who are trying to destroy what this country stands for, who are trying to undermine our freedoms, who are trying to change the most basic rights that we as Americans have enjoyed for over 200 years, I highly encourage you to take advantage of one other great American freedom, THE RIGHT TO LEAVE.
If you agree -- pass this along; if you don't agree-- delete it! AMEN I figure if we all keep passing this to our friends (and enemies) it will also, sooner or later get back to the complainers, let's all try, please!

It does in some ways descend to their levels, but what the heck, there's enough right wing spam floating around, they need to get a taste of their own medicine!
