I'm now a facilitator for a Wellstone Book Discussion Group in Cleveland.
Wellstone Action is holding a Book Discussion Group for his book "The Conscience of a Liberal", people will gather nationwide on February 5 to read from and discuss the book, and plan how to put its principles into action.

I signed up to be a facilitator, and decided to have it in my home. I told them I could accommodate up to 15 people. I'm in Painesville, Ohio, 20 miles east of Cleveland, so if you're in that area and want to come, let me know. Since I can only have about 15 people, it'll probably fill up fast, especially since Wellstone Action will have it listed as one of the area's groups. It's going to be really interesting, and I'm looking forward to it.

1. Hi liberalhistorian, I'm in Concord Township....
I'm going to bookmark your post and will get back with you. I have been ill for several months now but would love to join you. Are you with the Lake County DC? What are we going to do about our Congressman?

2. Hi desi,
I'm a member of the Lake County Democratic Women's Club (my mom's the treasurer). I can hold a place for you if you want.

Yes, our esteemed Congressman is quite the hypocritical, arrogant critter, isn't he? And I'm furious that the same paper (the News-Herald) that blasted and persecuted Clinton almost every day for months during the Lewinsky business is totally silent when it comes to Mr. LaTourette's shameful, back-stabbing, hypocritical treatment of his wife and family, especially considering he voted for impeachment because Clinton had "disgraced his family and shown no moral character.":puke:
