1. At least it wasn't dubbed "the Freedom Footprints"....
This design doesn't cause my gorge to rise, but man, that Freedom Tower is something else.

2. "They hate us for our freedom"
Edited on Tue Jan-06-04 05:10 PM by Skittles
a sickening display of both American arrogance and ignorance

This memorial, however, is quite simple and fitting.

4. I like it
It's reminds me of my own designs when I was in architecture school. That wall is gorgeous. For the record, I quit the architecture biz after I 'designed' my 50th Texaco StarMart and attended my 100th 'you can't build that gas station here' city planning meeting. Booorrring. I might get back into it if I ever end up moving to Europe.

9. Not bad...
I like it! Almost reminds me too much of the Vietnam Vets Wall, though.

8. I just wish they'd build something there – fast.
Every anniversary only invites more maudlin displays, usually used for political purposes.
