Pat Robertson Is A Complete Moron
Now what does it mean when PR has a tete-a-tete with his close personal friend God, and God sez: Oh Bush will win cuz he's blessed by me! Even though he makes all sorts of mistakes, it doesn't matter cuz he's blessed...

Uh...if he's "blessed" why is he making the mistakes in the first place. I'm sure God is just pleased as punch with all the bloodshed going on daily and all the bombs and the "peace" the bombs are bringing and all that.

I have never actually met a person who buys the Pat Robertson act but it is scary to think that so many people out there do. It boggles the mind!

1. Now, now. Don't you remember when Pat saved the state of Virginia
from a hurricane? He just asked his good bud God to inflict destruction on some other hapless state.

And more seriously, I think the folks who listen to and actually believe that....person are scarier than he is.

4. I thought Pat was 0-2 in the hurricane standings!
And if his Divine Insight sucks so much, when it comes to election predictions, I say - preach on!!

2. Pat erred
He was not talking to God. He was talking to the folks who "fix" the electronic voting machines which are being sold to districts from coast to coast. They will guarantee no paper trail and they will guarantee a bush reselection of epic proportions - UNLESS WE GROWL LOUDLY LIKE PATRIOTIC LIBERAL DEMOCRATS.

5. I do watch "The 700 Club" occasionally
It's important to know what he's saying, and I actually caught it on Friday (no Xena on Oxygen)when he made that claim. I was aghast. I think the FCC needs to rethink it's taxation policy on televangelists. If a show spends more than 20 percent of it's airtime on fundraising and political editorials, it should lose it's exemption.

I do miss the 80's christian soap opera his ministry produced, "Another Life". It was one of the most unintentionally hilarious things I've ever seen, up there with "Reefer Madness". The acting was very cheesy as were the sets. I have never seen any of the actors on any show since. They're probably starring in the "Left Behind" movies or something.

Pat needs to be watched. As my atavar once said "Madness in great ones must not unwatched go". (Hamlet)

6. Pat should ponder this verse - Matt 7:15-23
15Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. 16By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? 17Likewise every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. 19Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.
21"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' 23Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers

Pat seems to have sold his soul for the material world and devotion to Ceasar (and a diamond mine or two in Africa).

10. Don't forget the gold mine in Liberia
Right after 9/11 the History channel was advertising a commerative coin, and it came from the National Bank of Liberia, and from Pat's gold mine. God's right hand man was making money off the tradgedy.

is that Pat ran for the Republican nomination in '88 I believe. Since he has the hot line to the G-dude/ette, why come he didn't win??

...Actually he's quite the prophet. It will take decades for Orlando Fl. to rebuild from the rubble after that meteor hit a couple of years ago.;-)

He did kind of hit a snag with his call for prayer-to-the-death on the liberal Supreme Court judges. He thought RBG, and AK could get get heart attacks...well, after a few misplaced "Hail Marys", Antonin Scalia came down with a bad case of crabs, and they kind of gave up on that one.

11. You know, I used to work with the mentally ill
and I had ALOT who used to get their messages from God. I am not making fun of the mentally ill nor am I poking fun at the super religious but PR reminds me of some of the mentally ill people I was around who swore God spoke to them. He is one scary dude.

12. People like Robertson

Falwell, Fred Phelps and Farakahn prove that there is no god. If there was they would all be little pile of smoking ash.

17. Or perhaps God just wants us to work our own problems out
Expecting him/her to save us or directly intervene is the same kind of twisted thinking as Falwell and Robertson.

See, that's the difficult thing about that whole "free will" thing.

13. If God is answering Pat's prayers
why won't Pat pray for world peace, end to poverty/hunger/diseases, etc.? Or does that not jive well with the people/corporations running the repuke party? And yeah, he's f-ing moron.

15. Pat Robertson is a terrorist.
From the despicable things he's said, to his horrific deceit and false-prophetism, to his involvement in the political system, to his greed, to his intense hatred---Pat Robertson is a terrorist.

Now, I know God. God is a friend of mine.

And she doesn't speak to Pat Robertson.

20. No, Robertson is a very shrewd and evil man
He has convinced 1000's of people that the only way to god is through him and that you should give him as much of your money as possible in order for him to grant you favor.

Robertson is truly the embodiment of the anti-christ. The early christian writings talk about many anti-christs. This dark energy has manifested itself in assorted way for 1000's of years. When you realize that the anti-christ is a concept and not one particular person, then it is easier to recognize an anti-christ when you see one.

21. Pat Robertson is Brilliant
Out of thousands who've tried, how many other people have made literally billions just preaching? There's the Pope, Pat Robertson, maybe Sun Myung Moon and that's about it.

But even the Pope didn't pocket his billions personally.

Now Robertson's a twisted SOB but he isn't what I'd call stupid.
