9/11 LIHOP, MIHOP call to action
I figure the problem with 9/11 is that most people simply accept the official explanation and don't think there is any reason to look past it. Because of that, they do not simply seek out information themselves on 9/11.

So how can we get out the message?

I had an idea last night. I am thinking it might be a really good idea to have a whole bunch of business cards printed up with only a web address on it. It would of course be an address for one of the many fine 9/11 sites out there. Then when I have some free time I can head downtown (I will be back in Minneapolis in about a week) and simply pass them out to people on the street.

Many people will probably wonder "what the heck is this?" and be intrigued by it. They might very well figure "what the heck" and look it up on the internet. Then, hopefully, they will become engrossed in the facts and come to see the light.

I liken this to the pamphleteering that the revolutionaries would hand out before the birth of our once great Republic.

So what do you guys think? Is this a good idea? Are others willing to do this in their own cities?

And how about practical matters, like what web site should be used? I would like to use one that is seen as more mainstream and less fringe, because then people will probably be more likely to continue looking at it once they check it out.

How about design ideas? Is a simple web address a good idea? Should there be some acccompanying text?

The corporate media won't get the message out and we all know the 9/11 Commission will largely be a white wash, so we must get the message out ourselves. Who is with me?

1. I think it's an excellent idea!
Hopefully, there's someone on here who knows how to help implement this!

2. Well it shouldn't be that hard I would think
If we could come up with an agreed upon design each person that wants to participate could simply go to their local Kinko's (or preferred copy place) and have them printed up. Then go to high traffic areas and hand them out. The beauty of it is that we would be largely protected from right wing fanatics attacking us because they wouldn't know exactly what the site was about until they looked at it.

8. Thats true but.....
you should be careful about being in the same place too long or they may find ya.

And you need to change a different color card or flyer each day so that the ferverent repugs don't see it more than once.

And you need a buddy system.

And only at daylight and never at a mall.

Grand Central Station in NY would be a great place.

But any subway terminal should be great.

Go to neighborhoods and place on doors.

Post flyers on bullitin boards in schools(colleges/community colleges)

4. Here's my proposal
That I made a few days ago. It works on the same premise of leaving bread crumbs of Truth lying around so the Common Man (or Woman) can see the Real Deal surrounding the Bush Admin.

The Whispering Campaign

6. I made myself some cards
that I keep in my pocket and leave laying around in places like the supermarket and the bookstore, etc. It's easy to do and you'll feel so subversive.
