What type of conservative do you hate the least?

neoconservative - has only one priority: making the world safe for Ariel Sharon

paleoconservative - Buchanan-style, opposes imperialism, strongly against progressivism in social issues, anti-freetrade

libertarian - (this refers to true libertarians like Ron Paul, not porn, beer, and war radio "libertarians") to model America after Switzerland

I would say paleoconservative because trade is more important than social issues for me. How about you? Are there any other categories you can think of?

Because of the non-aggression principle.

The idea is a society should be setup so the least coercive
force is used by the state in domestic and external affairs.

This implies a system that minimizes imprisonment and war.

But most don't seem to hold this believe and are just
republicans who like to smoke dope.

Most also seem to be warmongers and corporate enablers.

8. Pro-drug, pro-choice, church-state separation, anti-war, pro-gay

Those are the things I like about the Libertarians. They aren't even considered "Conservatives" because of those beliefs. Most real Conservatives group Libertarians as one of the "Lib'ruls".

But, I don't agree with one single solitary thing from neo-conservatives, who are basically puppets for big corps.

Their goal is an American empire through economic and military means, not aiding Sharon. Aiding Sharon is simply one of many means to reach this objective.

No, those old-style Republicans are true American patriots. They have the libertarian, laissez-faire (I know-a big word!) attitudes toward business AND people's personal choices/lifestyles. They support the Constitution-you know, separation of Church and State? Right to Bear Arms? A Woman's right to choose? They are consistent, which is more than I can say for the neo-cons of today who want to turn this country into American Taliban.

16. Coservatives

I have absolutely no problem with fiscal conservatives. In fact I prefer fiscal conservatives to economically-other types.

At risk of being flamed, there are some conservative values that I agree with. Specifically, I agree that people who work hard should reap the benefits of their work. I know of at least one person who would fit the term "welfare mom" - she has several kids, no education, no ambition, no drive to better herself. And I'm not forgetting the males who were a part of that. They suck.

However, this country should balance that ideal with the more liberal idea that everybody should have the opportunity to better themselves. A caste system, which is where we seem to be heading, is contrary to this.

The above illustrates why, at least sometimes, it's better to aim at the middle of the spectrum.

23. Democratic Conservative

I'd consider myself a paleo-conservative on many issues. I despise the UN and wish we would completely remove ourselves from that bickering group of nations who chastise us at the same time they ask for our money. I am against the neo-con version of "free trade", which really means cheap labor at the expense of American workers. I am pro-life, but I'm consistent in being so because I've slowly evolved an opinion that's against the death penalty. I'm essentially a libertarian in the personal arena and if gays and lesbians wish to have a legal union, why not? It's their business and no one else's. I'm for a clear division of religion and government and I believe Judge Roy Moore is a grandstanding jackass. I believe in a strong DEFENSE, meaning that we don't take military action against nations that are not threatening our interests. Yugoslavia and Iraq are two prime examples. I agree with a previous post in that yes, I've seen welfare abusers first hand. There was a 20 year old girl at my previous job who had 4 kids by different fathers and complained that state assistance wasn't enough and she had to work. Another was 18, pregnant, and griping about the Section 8 apartment she'd been approved to receive. I'm sorry, but I don't believe my taxes should subsidize irresponsibility.
