Neocon neighbor not happy with bush |
A good friend of mine (we agree on zero politically) but he's an excellent neighbor, expressed this sentiment to me about bush yestereday - "now the bastard wants to annex Mexico with this bullshit immigration initiative. He got my vote in 2000, but he won't get it in 2004." He also railed about the press making excuses for the lack of WMD. I quietly cheered him on and dropped a few polite hints about General Clark. One vote at a time..

1. I think that for all those paleo-cons out there |
as well as other real conservatives out there, this may be the straw that breaks the camels back. There's a lot that this administration has done that actual conservatives should be furious about, and this may get them actually talking about it...

2. Lots of the Cons DO seem pretty upset |
about this immigration thing. Bush may have finally gone too far.

3. I believe the Neo's do not care as long as everyone ignores |
the empire building. The Republicans on the other hand have always detested brown people. I see two parties in power and sooner or later they are going to butt heads.
