T-minus 2 hours, 30 minutes and counting

until the IN-LAWS arrive

House is 99% clean and ready. My partner is mowing the lawn now and angsting over the possibility that people will track the lawn clipping into the house... like DUHHHH, then don't mow the lawn, doesn't really need it anyways...

But NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooo, gotta mow the lawn... :eyes:

as soon as lawn is done, she's going to run to the store for beer and ice - while she's doing that I will be setting up the awning, and putting out the lawn chairs... do a "go away rain dance" ... clean the grill. When done with that I will be very careful not to drag in lawn clipping...

Then a shower, get into in-law appropriate clothing and relax for a few minutes before the REAL craziness starts....

It will go fine. I believe that most in-laws have an open mind and are only interested in having their child be happy.

I am a mother-in-law X 2 and I firmly believe that anyone who has the good sense to love one of my children has got to be okay.

I also believe that the person who adds meaning and depth to my child's life deserves to be treated with love and care.
