8. actually, the last two races i've been to at california speedway..

here in Fontucky, it's been my observation that the skinjob (shaven head) is the mullet of the new millenium. Best mullet viewing hands down was at the Riversplash in Milwaukee.

10. Every time I see one of these "southerners are..." refrains, I'm

reminded of the time I brought my album collection from home when I came back from leave. This was 1966 or '67. A man in the adjacent platoon from New York City thumbed through my collection. I had all of Dylan's albums he had made to that date. I had Butterfield(East-West), Muddy, Woody Guthrie, Beatles, Stones, well, you get the picture. He brushed all the albums aside and fastened on a Sonny and Cher album of my younger sister's that had hitched a ride. He said, "Wow, Sonny and Cher, You are hip hick!" Thirty years later I still get pleasure recalling that!!

14. I have to ask this cause

its been prying on my mind but what is it about southerners that we are soooooo made fun of. Born in Goochland Co., Va, transplanted in Fla. i just can't understand all the put downs. All of us are not toothless, outhouse trained, quit school in the 3rd grade people. Just cause I love cornbread, bean soup and beer does not make me any less concerned about our current situation then anyone else.
On edit - we swim with mullets in Fla. If they start jumping you better get out of the water cause the sharks are close by.
