Had to call Micro$oft tech support today
and wouldn't you know the woman had an Indian accent. Needless to say I wasn't surprised.

2. Had a similar experience with HP.
I called three different times, and 2 of the three were Indians. I actually got lucky the third time. The human on the other end of the phone spoke without an accent and I could understand him. The first two spoke english (I think) but were very difficult to understand. I had to keep asking them to repeat because I didn't understand.

It really pisses me off! I could have paid more for my system to get "help" here in the USA. I don't care if they had a Brooklyn, Southern, or Texas accent!

Only cares about the bottom line "before" the CEO's stock options.

To paraphrase AOL: "Guesss What? You've Got Linux!"

If "they" couldn't support WinME without blaming each other, then why shouldn't I convert my spare Notebook to Linux?

7. Check this one out.
I had DSL installed with Qwest (featuring MSN, WTF?). When I called tech support she asked why I used a Macintosh and not Windows. I couldn't believe I had to justify my platform to tech support. The flyer said they support OS X and I want help with OS X.

DSL with them sucked and I went to cable a few months later.
