Am I the only one who doesn't know who's gay and who's not?

Most of the time I don't even know who's male and who's female. How can you people keep track of so many little details about another poster's gender, race, sexual preference, religion or not, and on and on and on.

Except SoCalDem has been married 33 years... or is that MrsGrumpy. For sure I'll forget tomorrow.

At least I've found a benefit of memory loss. :-)

1. You just get to know people over time and respond based on what

you know. I try to remember things people share about themselves out of interest not any real intention to keep track.

It's OK with me if one doesn't respond based on any labels too though.

I've been on another board for years and the best I remember is male/female and that's it. I really don't pay attention to the rest of it.

Personally, I don't give a crap if you're gay or not. If you're a good person, that's all I care about. If you're nice to me, I'll be nice to you. I don't care waht you do in your bedroom, or on your kitchen table. The only thing that matters is your heart. People piss me off with how preoccupied they are with this crap.

I didn't know NSMA was a lesbian till today. Didn't even know she was a she. That's what I get for never looking at profiles.

But I did know that she was as cool and groovy a person as I'd ever find anywhere, and so it's not like that revelation changed anything important (I mean, except for when it comes down to the hood of her car).

I still don't know the gender of many DUers that I've thus far interacted with. Basis for vivid fantasies aside, it doesn't really matter in most of the contexts hereabouts.

8. I know ... rather sad story really

Makes me rather sick. When my mother was dying I had the local priest going to see her. The woman running this place she was at shortly (thank God) inferred that the priest was "gay" but never came right out and said it.

Since this time, I've tried to tune into him more and I think that maybe he is gay. Frankly, I really don't care and I think it is very wrong to judge people because of their sexual preferences!
