2. I've got 15 cats...

And although I love them all, there is not a single one I would want cloned. I found the old fashion way is:

a) cheaper
b) not as stupid as paying someone thousands of dollars

4. Can they start with a dead cat?

My best cats were my calico Persian, (which they claim produces unexpected results), my black tabby tom and my solid black homosexual tom.

I would not clone either of the toms because of their screwed-up genes, but I would love to have another calico Persian.
