The Curdled Creamery of all CAPTIONS!! (Wear goggles!)

W. is "thinking": "Boy!, out here in nature thinking about the big questions sure gets me to wondering. Like when your parents name you how do they know what everybody's going to call you when you grow up so that they do it just right? Or why is it the tone always goes up when the tank of the toilet is filling. Seems suspecious to me. Or just what ARE the birds really saying and do they, like, have secret governments and stuff? And will butterflies evolve into birds if we gave them enough time? Or why didn't Adam and Eve just skip the apple and get to it? Hmmmm. . . ."

8. more like
"Boy, this will all sure look a lot neater when that refinery gets built over all this damn nature stuff"

Trust me, Bush doesn't wonder about anything. He has no empathy, remorse OR sense of wonderment. He is always quite certain he knows all the answers, and that everything he "knows" is absolutely right.

God told him, remember?

12. The world revolves and time shifts zone to zone.
As some DU'ers turn their minds to house and home;
Others fire their hard-drives, and minds alight,
Seek shift to ride swift CAPTION'S flight.

13. W. is "reckonin'":
"Man, this really gives one an appreciation for all of the really yippo work that the Lord does. All this open land...God's gift to man! I, of course, am God's gift to women, but that's another story. Geez, this place is just geee-orgeous. All the mountains, the rolling plains, the hand tilled ground...so beautiful.

I wonder how I can destroy it..."

14. W is thinking: I look out here and know one day ...
... it'll serve as a nice strip shopping center so 'Muricans can consume ... hopefully, sooner than later ... but, it makes me wonder what's wrong with a cookie cutter lifestyle ... except for my rich friends and me, of course ... no matter where you are, you know where to find stuff ... you won't even feel homesick because the food and service and stuff are the same whether you're in Boise or Buffalo or Boynton Beach ... you lose your job and hunt for a new one for a year or three or forever, and then you have to pile the kids in the car and drive to some new place ... presto ... you feel like you're back where you were ... at first you might feel strange, but then you see the familiar arches ... there's a McDonald's ... and, over there ... a Taco Bell ... there's a WalMart ... good homeland feelings ... sameness is good ... regardless of the shanty-town you call home ...
